Free Tuscan Dinner

A delicious gastronomic experience offered free of charge to our guests: Each evening, at 8:00 pm, we serve a fixed menu Tuscan dinner, with traditional as well as innovative dishes, served in a romantic, candlelit room. The three-course dinner is simple and genuine:
A first course with ingredients in season
A second meat or vegetable course, according to the fantasy of the cook
A sweet and romantic dessert to close the evening in style
Each day the courses are different, to allow our guests to become acquainted with the great variety of the Tuscan cuisine. Each evening we hope to tempt your taste buds with a new surprise. Dinner is entirely free (including a bottle of water). Other drinks (wine and spirits) are not included and can be paid apart.

Where We Are

Palazzo Tolomei is located right in the heart of the historical center of Florence, in the midst of churches, museums, and extraordinary monuments. The artistic highlights of the city are just a few steps away: Michelangelo's David, the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and Santa Croce.

The Palazzo is also in the heart of the shopping district, a symbol of taste and Italian creativity, from the well known stylists to the emerging young designers. The artisan's workshops are also famous, from goldsmiths to antiques, which display the marvels of Italian taste in their windows.

By car:

The center of Florence is limited to traffic, or a pedestrian area. If you use a garage, however, you can pass the telematic boundaries in your car since the Garage will then remove the charges from your licence plate, allowing you to arrive directly at the front door of PalazzoTolomei. We have an agreement with a nearby garage for the cost of 30 to 35 Euros maximum per night. The price varies according to the size of the car. An employee of the garage will pick up your car at the main entrance of the Palazzo and bring it back whenever needed.

From the highway A1 (Milano- Roma)

By train:

The train station of Santa Maria Novella is approximately 700 meters walking from Palazzo Tolomei.
You can find the directions on this map: http://goo.gl/maps/uPphW. Otherwise, if you have heavy luggage, we suggest you take a taxi from the main exit of the station to get to Palazzo Tolomei.

By air:

At the Florence airport "Amerigo Vespucci" the taxi station is just outside of the main exit. The airport also provides a shuttle bus which will take you to the train station of Santa Maria Novella. From the station, you could take a taxi to Palazzo Tolomei. We suggest taking the taxi directly from the airport since the total cost of the two possibilities is the same.
